RainbowNote: notebook/diary with photo calendar App Reviews

A great app for individualists, who like to choose from lots of themes, fonts, colors and so on to create their own personalized notes. You are totally free in your creation! This app allows you to create entries for whatever you like, be it a contact note, a travel journal as shown on the photos above or as I use use it, as a small scrapbook for ideas I come across. Id like to see some stamps added or a function to resize and rotate photos/pictures, that would be awesome!

Really Great app for everyday use. Some more themes would be nice. I dont like the four included.

I love this app! Ive had no problems so far. There is a nice variety of templates ... of course its always nice to have even more variety (i.e., holiday templates, darker colours, etc.). =)

I wish that you were still able to change the font colour. Or I could be missing something... And it crashes sometimes. So for now, 4 stars because of the new backdrops and the theme selector =3

Love the app! Just one item is missing is the ability to create bullet lists or check lists. Otherwise its amazing!!!!!

Better than Evernote I think

I reached maximum no. Of notes in the lite version and purchase a full one. Now I have both apps and the lite version didnt automatically upgrade. How can I get the two notes to sync without having to manually recreate them for the full version?

Snappy UI. this is the second most used app in my collection. Thank you again for the update. Keep up the great work

Very good app. I think the best one for notes. Fantastic option that syncs notes with google doc. Not 5stars because I think few functions still miss eg. - write and sync notes with Pc/Mac via wifi; - possibility to create folders; - change fonts colour; .... and some others

This is a great app that I really enjoy using. EASY syncing to Google docs - I have lots of note and diary apps, but this is the one that I use every day. A security lock would make it perfect!! Also, please keep adding new note designs!

I needed an app that could somehow import the 75+ notes on my wifes Palm Treo 680 into her new iPhone 3G S. RainbowNotes import/export function via an Excel file in Google Docs gave me an easy route to copy/paste the exported data. In addition to having the features I wanted, I found it easy to use. After a few minutes of trying every button, I had learned its functions. I also liked that I didnt need to signup for the companys own service to do a backup.

I really enjoy this app and use it everyday. On the latest update where you change the color of the font. Could you put that in English?????

Really excelent work. I use it all the time. I love the option to create my own directory structure and keep my files organized the way I want. Integrating with google docs was a stroke of genius. Great work!

UPDATE: 11:45pm 9/9/09: THANK YOU RainbowNote dev/CoconutTrail!! About half an hour ago I noticed the iPhone Update icon and turns out it was an update for THIS app! So I checked it out and sure enough, the app now has active URL links in Expand mode!! Wow. Talk about Fast Service! It works great! Thank you! And now I feel like a total jerk for being so crabby earlier this morn. That was after a 14-15 hour "determined hunt" for the "perfect" notes app. Sorry about that! And thanks again for the Super Quick Fix! And I really DO love that Teal, one of my fav colors!  ------------ Original Crabby post from early morn of 9/9/09: The URLs are not hyperlinked in the text entries. They should be as a Basic First Grade function. Even the iPhone Notepad has hyperlinks. Please make Notepad BETTER, not detract from its FEW good points. And I WISH OH PUH-LEEZE devs that SOMEONE SOMEWHERE would let us, the users, CUSTOMIZE ***EVERYTHING***!! Im so sick to death of wasting $$ to find out I cannot SORT MANUALLY the lists into the position that works for me. Why do devs insist on "putting words in our mouths" by choosing FOR US how we want to organize our stuff? Please STOP IT! ie, Time, Date, Color for this app. Well guess what? I FILE BY NONE OF THOSE but by SUBJECT of my note. Please just let us MANUALLY SORT OUR LISTS!!! And sure I like google but I do NOT like or want an "All Notes" folder (a google gmail trick) as it just adds BULK and DUPLICATES. A waste of space!!! So why have it?? Let us DELETE IT if we want. Cons/Summary: -No hyperlinks in text entries -No Manual Sorting of lists the way users brain works (but forced to sort per devs choices) -Cannot delete "all notes" folder (which is a waste of space/duplicates) Pros: -Great teal color -Email-Out ability -Folders -No limit on length of memo or note Hope the next update will include choices re the 3 Cons.
